Skygauge collaborated with Paul Holloway of Holloway NDT & Engineering to compare manual ultrasonic testing with Skygauge results. Tests performed on a decommissioned chimney stack confirmed that Skygauge provides the same level of measurement accuracy as traditional hand-measured UT inspections.

Repeatability Year After Year

Every Skygauge inspection records the exact probe location and applied force. This data is stored in the cloud, allowing future inspections to be performed in the exact same position even decades later, ensuring consistent long-term monitoring.

Force Feedback Probe Technology

The robotic probe applies even pressure during ultrasonic measurements, ensuring reliable UT data capture. The flexible robotic wrist allows inspection in challenging or hard-to-reach areas.

Skygauge provides 360° coverage of structures and infrastructure, reaching tight corners, vertical surfaces and congested areas where traditional inspection methods are difficult or unsafe.

Automatic Data Interpretation

The Skygauge inspection software automatically filters noise and validates ultrasonic A-scan readings. The system has been independently verified by Level 3 NDT technicians to ensure reliable inspection data.
